Schindler's Actual List Up for Sale—on eBay

Only four versions of Oskar Schindler's famous list are still known to exist. Three are in museums, and the remaining one can be yours with a starting bid of $3 million. On eBay. The New York Post reports that owners Gary Zimet and Eric Gazin put their copy up for sale on the site last night and hope the price hits at least $5 million before the auction ends on July 28. “We decided to sell the list on eBay because it has over 100 million worldwide members, and this is a global story,” says Gazin.

Or as Gawker puts it: "That's right: Schindler’s list, the iconic document used by German industrialist Oskar Schindler to safeguard the lives of over 1,000 Jews during World War II, is being sold to the highest bidder on the same website you use to track down ultra rare Beanie Babies."
