D.J. Augustin and No. 12 Texas barely held on to defeat Oklahoma State 63-61. Augustin led the Longhorns with 26 points, including their final 10, and Damion Jones added 12 points and 12 rebounds. The Cowboys were held scoreless for two separate six minute stretches in the game, including one that went into the game’s final minute, reports the Associated Press.

It was the second straight two-point win for Texas, who moved to 15-3 overall and 2-1 in Big 12 play. James Anderson had a team-high 17 points for the Cowboys, who lost for the first time at home this season and fell to 10-8. Anderson had a chance to tie the game in the final seconds but his shot rimmed out. (More NCAA basketball stories.)
