Immigration is a big issue for John Oliver—given that he is himself an immigrant—so when he heard that villainous WWE manager Zeb Colter had complained of "foreigners sneaking across our borders like rats in the streets," he got a little offended. But when he saw a clip in which Zeb was said to be angry over Oliver's own takeover of the Daily Show it got personal.
The result: A segment you have to see to believe, in which Oliver ripped off his suit's sleeves, threw a gold-plated belt over his shoulder, and told Colter that if he wanted "to go after immigrant rats, then he better be prepared to get gnawed on, because we've got teeth!" He was then joined onstage by Mick Foley himself. "Immigrants do our toughest, dirtiest jobs," Foley declared. "Do you have the gall, the stones, to step into a basic cable talk show host chair if your boss goes away for the summer?!" The two then threatened to take out some folding chairs, unfold them, sit down, and "discuss the complexities of immigration reform with you." (More John Oliver stories.)
