Any out-of-work NFL player can get arrested for DUI. But it takes a special kind of dedication to get arrested 15 hours later for breaking into an impound lot in broad daylight in an attempt to get your car back. Titus Young allegedly has that dedication; police tell the Press Enterprise that he was busted just after midnight on Sunday after police spotted him driving his black Ford Mustang into oncoming traffic. He was arrested and his vehicle impounded.
Then at 2:22pm on Sunday, witnesses reported a man jumping a fence into the impound lot, and police found Young when they arrived. A wide receiver by trade, Young was released by the Detroit Lions in February. St. Louis claimed him off waivers, but released him in turn 10 days later. A Detroit News report back in January indicated that the Lions believed he had "serious" emotional and mental issues, and had urged him to get help. (More Titus Young stories.)
