On Today Monday, Martha Stewart agreed to join Match.com—and now her profile is live, Time reports. While it doesn't reveal her to be a person who enjoys romantic candlelit dinners and long walks on the beach, it does inform us that she is looking for an "intelligent, established, and curious" man who enjoys adventures, animals, and the outdoors. The 71-year-old is looking for a younger man (between ages 55 and 70) who is taller than her (at least 5'10"), and she doesn't mind if he has kids. As for her interests, Stewart writes, "British House of Cards, American House of Cards, Homeland, all food, the symphony, opera & rap." And in case you were wondering, her income is $150,001+.
"You may recognize me from my pictures. Yes, it's really me," she writes. (In fact, you can vote on Facebook for which other picture she should include.) She says she decided to try online dating because writing her new book reminded her "how central good relationships are to happiness and longevity," and she thinks technology can "enhance" her dating life. Lots of her employees have also had success dating online, she said on Today. And the move can't hurt her efforts to promote that book, Living the Good Long Life. To wit, her Match.com username? "thegoodlonglife." (More Martha Stewart stories.)
