Scott Applewhite) Joe Manchin wants to take another crack at gun control, telling Fox New Sunday that he's going to retool his failed proposal on background checks to bring it to the Senate floor. “We’re going to work this bill with all of our hearts," he said today. "I truly believe that if we have time to sell the bill... read the bill and tell me what you don't like." Manchin says bill co-sponsor Pat Toomey—who Friday signaled it was time to move on— is "totally committed" to the legislation. "I don't think he's done," says Manchin, according to Politico.
