So just how bad did things get during Ozzy Osbourne's year-and-a-half relapse into booze and drugs? Well, according to sources who talked to Britain's Daily Star tabloid, the rocker got so high he became convinced wife Sharon was planning to murder him. He ran around their mansion shouting, "She's trying to kill me," the sources say. Sharon finally walked out after Ozzy went six days without sleeping or showering; at times, he had gone missing for hours or days, the source adds.
"He was screaming and sobbing ‘They are trying to kill me. Sharon’s trying to kill me.' It was horrendous. ... It was heartbreaking for her," a source says. "He was living in an imaginary world for most of the time and seeing a lot of things that weren’t even there." And if Ozzy denies the whole thing, well, that's easily explainable: "Ozzy knows he’s put Sharon through hell but the truth is he can’t even remember half of what he did," the source says. Another look at this time period in the Osbournes' lives: Last week, TMZ listened to a 911 call Sharon made in January, which makes it seem as if an "incoherent" Ozzy may have accidentally set a table on fire with a candle in the wee hours of the morning. Sharon, who later took the blame for the candle incident, reportedly won't take him back until he's been sober for months. (More Ozzy Osbourne stories.)
