The president's weekly radio address tomorrow will probably get more attention than usual, precisely because it won't be the president delivering it. Instead, the mother of one of the young Newtown victims will fill in, reports USA Today. Francine Wheeler, whose 6-year-old son Ben was killed at Sandy Hook, will try to keep up the pressure on Congress to put meaningful reforms in place. It's the first time that neither Obama nor Joe Biden has given the address in the Obama presidency, notes NBC News.

Earlier this week, the president spoke in Connecticut: "Over the weekend, I heard Francine Wheeler, who lost her son Ben that day, say that the four months since the tragedy might feel like a brief moment for some, but for her, it feels like it's been years since she saw Ben," he said. "And she's determined not to let what happened that day just fade away." (More Francine Wheeler stories.)
