Louisville's Ware: No, I Never Want to See the Video

Louisville basketball player Kevin Ware has one thing in common with the rest of America: He never wants to see video of the bone-snapping injury he suffered on the court Sunday. "I don't plan on seeing the video," he tells CNN. "I honestly never want to see the video. It puts me in a mental state that I don't want to be." Ware called the injury "God's plan," and vowed to play basketball again.

The Courier-Journal of Louisville, meanwhile, talks to teammate Luke Hancock, who went to Ware immediately after the injury—even as others recoiled in horror—then held his hand and said a prayer. “I wouldn’t want to be alone in that situation, and I don’t think he wanted to be alone,” says Hancock. “I just thought if I could talk to him and tell him he’ll be all right, it might help.” It did.
