Can't live without YouTube and Facebook? Well, a German court is on your side. For the first time, a federal court in the country has called the Internet crucial to everyday life, just like the telephone. As such, the court decreed that a man who lost Internet service from December 2008 to February 2009 should be compensated by his service provider for the loss, reports IDG News Service. The man had also asked for compensation for losing his fax service, but the court did not consider that as important. (More Germany stories.)
