Say you find $222,000 in your cab. What do you do? You get it back to the passenger who left it, right? That's what cabbie Adam Woldemariam did when he found a laptop case stuffed with the cash in his taxi last month. Woldemariam, 42, described as a "big and honest teddy bear of an Ethiopian cab driver" by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, turned the money in to the cab company's security office, and the owner of the bucks showed up soon after. The passenger said he won the money at a casino, but forgot it as he left the taxi at the airport—and paid Woldemariam a rather measly $2,000 for his trouble. Generous Woldemariam plans to send some of the cash home to Ethiopia to his family. (More Las Vegas stories.)
