About 4 in 10 Americans have a college degree, but the US must look north to see the "world's most educated country," according to number crunching from 24/7WallSt and the America Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. Leading its top-10 list of the nations with the highest percentage of college grads:
- Canada (51%): The only nation to crack the 50% mark.
- Israel: (46%): It helps that the nation's high school graduation rate is 92%.
- Japan (45%): But new college grads are struggling to find jobs.
- United States (42%): And we've got the college debt to go along with that high percentage.
- New Zealand (41%): It's also a big draw for international students.
