They're five Mormon dads from Utah. They love to do quirky, instrumental covers of pop songs and put them on YouTube. And Sony just signed them, reports USA Today. "This is kind of freaky—miraculous, really," says one of the members of The Piano Guys, who have racked up 134 million views on YouTube. One video involves all five of the musicians playing, banging, and plucking the strings on a single piano while recreating pop band One Direction's What Makes You Beautiful.

"There's a lot of this, music videos popping up that aren't maybe on the radar of labels or record executives, but they get traction with the public," says the head of content strategy at YouTube. The Piano Guys' debut album is slated for early October. "We're five middle-aged guys with wives and kids who are desperately holding on to our hairlines," says the group's cellist. "But we also love what we do, and our fans say it shows." No word on how much their Sony contract is worth. (More Mormon stories.)
