N. Korea Incensed Over 'Naughty' Joke
Naughty Korea turned into Pissy Korea over its depiction in mX's medal count.   (mX)

When last we checked in on North Korea's Olympic experience, it was pitching a fit over a South Korean flag mix-up, and it seems its outrage has not since abated. Pyongyang's state-run media arm is absolutely shredding an Australian newspaper for jokingly referring to it as "Naughty Korea" in its medal standings. KCNA blasted the “bullying act" as "little short of insulting the Olympic spirit of solidarity, friendship, and progress and politicizing sports.”

And furthermore, the "moneymaking" ploy is "challenging the authority of a dignified state." And finally, a little primer for would-be practitioners of journalism, from the aforementioned state-run practitioner of journalism: The "media are obliged to lead the public in today’s highly-civilized world where (the) mental and cultural level of mankind is being displayed at the highest level.” Perhaps adding insult to North Korea's injury, free daily mX also dubbed South Korea "Nice Korea," notes the Wall Street Journal.
