She cleanly snipped ties with Tom Cruise, gained full custody of daughter Suri, and now Katie Holmes is heading back to Broadway. The 33-year-old actress will star in the five-character comedy Dead Accounts, written by Pulitzer Prize finalist Theresa Rebeck. Holmes will play an "unglamorous" character, Lorna, who lives with her aging parents, notes the New York Times. The play opens this fall at the Music Box Theater, reports CBS. Holmes made her Broadway debut in 2008 in a revival of All My Sons. The top job on the Great White Way is the latest development as Holmes settles in as a newly single mom in Manhattan, where Suri is attending a posh Catholic school. (More Broadway stories.)
