Ted Nugent: Maybe South Should Have Won Civil War

Ted Nugent clearly isn't one to mince words or show liberals any love (case in point: this interview where he says the left media portray him as a puppy-raper), so it shouldn't come as too surprising that the rocker penned a piece for the Washington Times blasting the "supposed-conservative" Chief Justice Roberts. He explains that Roberts chose to head left when he "came to a judicial conservative-liberal fork in the road," and while some GOPers are cheering the effect the decision has had on Romney's campaign coffers, Nugent is having none of it.

"There are some things more important than politics and elections. Striking down un-American, Constitution-violating ObamaCare is one of them," he writes. He goes on to call the "turncoat" chief justice's move a "traitor vote" and warns that "Fedzilla" will soon eat its way through more of our tax dollars. And that has the rocker thinking back to the good old days ... like, pre-1865. "Because our legislative, judicial, and executive branches of government hold the 10th Amendment in contempt, I’m beginning to wonder if it would have been best had the South won the Civil War," he writes. "Our Founding Fathers' concept of limited government is dead." Click to read his entire column. (More Ted Nugent stories.)
