In a stunningly ironic turn of events, a Miami man who was freed just three months ago in a controversial "Stand Your Ground" case was killed by a stray bullet this week. Greyston Garcia—who was granted immunity by a judge in March after chasing down and killing a man who was attempting to steal his car radio—left his job at a convenience store Tuesday night to get change at a nearby gas station. He was caught in a firefight between two rival gangs as he returned to the store, crashed his truck, and was later pronounced dead, the Miami Herald reports. A 16-year-old boy was also killed in the shootout. (More Greyston Garcia stories.)
