Madonna is so amazing that, she apparently fears, her fans may just want to steal her DNA. So she does what any normal person would do: She has a "sterilization team" charged with wiping down her dressing room after every gig so that no stray hair, skin, or saliva remains. The Mirror gets this fascinating tidbit from a concert promoter in Portugal, where the Material Girl's tour arrived yesterday; he adds that Madonna's team also builds the entire dressing area using fake ceilings and walls, to ensure there are no hidden cameras.

"We have to take extreme care, like I have never seen for any other artist. We cannot even look at the dressing room, after it is ready, or even open the door," he explains. "We can only enter after her sterilization team has left the room. There will not be any of Madonna’s DNA, any hair, or anything. They will clean up everything. In the end it is all to protect her and make her feel comfortable. I do understand it, but it is taken to extremes." No word on what, exactly, an obsessed fan would plan on doing with Madonna's DNA, but we assume it would involve cloning. (More Madonna stories.)
