Obstreperous Alec Baldwin stepped from his home to face the media in Manhattan yesterday, and declared his recent confrontation with a Daily News photographer a joke. As he walked from his East Village apartment with his 16-year-old daughter, Ireland, he laughed when asked if he'd consider anger management therapy. When queried by a News reporter if he considered assaulting a photographer a joke, the 30 Rock star responded: "Yes I do," notes the newspaper.
Photographer Marcus Santos said Baldwin punched him on the chin Tuesday as he tried to snap the actor with his new marriage license. An altercation between the two was photographed by another journalist, but a punch is not apparent. Baldwin tweeted that he only shoved Santos when the photographer nearly hit him with his camera, adding the hashtag "#allpaparazzishouldbewaterboarded." Santos has filed a complaint with police, and the district attorney is deciding whether to file charges. Baldwin joked to David Letterman this week that you can see him begin to mouth the letter F in the photo of the Santos confrontation. "I said to him, ‘What F-stop are you on?’” Baldwin quipped.
