DEA Agents Probed for Hiring Colombian Prostitutes

Looks like Secret Service agents weren't the only feds misbehaving in Colombia. The Drug Enforcement Administration is investigating three of its agents for hiring prostitutes in the country, sources tell CBS. The investigation of the agents—who have been removed from Colombia—was opened based on information from a Secret Service agent being questioned in relation to that agency's Colombian sex scandal, the sources say.

Three senators have confirmed the investigation to CNN. "It's disturbing that we may be uncovering a troubling culture that spans more than one law enforcement agency," says Maine's Susan Collins, the top Republican on the Senate Homeland Security Committee. At least two agents "apparently entertained female foreign national masseuses" in one agent's Cartagena apartment, she says, and "the evidence uncovered thus far indicates that this likely was not a one-time incident."
