Dominique Strauss-Kahn may have another sexual assault scandal on his hands—or some part of him, anyway. French investigators are looking into allegations that he and three of his friends gang-raped a Belgian prostitute while on a trip to Washington in December 2010, Reuters reports. The allegations spring from a formal investigation into Strauss-Kahn's link to a suspected prostitution ring based out of Lille, France, which has already seen Strauss-Kahn charged with pimping.
The alleged victim told French police during her deposition that Strauss-Kahn and his friends had forced her to have group sex at the W Hotel in DC, but she has yet to file a formal complaint. A report spotted by the New York Times from the French newspaper Libération says the prostitute, one of two Belgian women who attended the party, told investigators she was made to perform "certain sexual acts without her consent." Prosecutors say they're currently "studying the request," and haven't yet decided whether they'll even launch a preliminary investigation. (More Dominique Strauss Kahn stories.)
