Your Christian Louboutin high heels giving you blisters? Don't expect any sympathy from Christian Louboutin. "High heels are pleasure with pain," he tells Grazia magazine. "If you can't walk in them, don't wear them." In the interview, picked up by the Telegraph, the designer adds, "If Tina Turner and Prince's back-up band can perform on stage in them for three hours, you can't tell me they are impossible to walk in."

Louboutin, discussing his history as a designer ahead of next month's exhibition at the London Design Museum, does sympathize with men: "Women have these giant heels. They get taller and taller," he says. But "men in high heels? That's a prosthesis. … The men need help, but a man in heels is ridiculous.'' (More Christian Louboutin stories.)
