One last cherry on top of that $822,000 Vegas party thrown by the General Services Administration that cost three top officials their jobs: They had a talent contest. Better yet: The winner of the contest is a ukulele-playing federal employee who made a six-minute video in which he raps "in sunglasses about extravagant spending" and boasts that he'll never be under investigation, reports the Washington Post.
Also captured for posterity: One deputy commissioner jokes about an apparently crazy party thrown the night before in the hotel room of Commissioner Richard Peck. Peck got fired this week when news of the 2010 scandal became public. The video is "another example of the complete lack of judgment” on display during the conference, says a GSA spokesperson.
