JK Rowling is back, but if you're hoping for more adventures starring a certain boy wizard—or anything along the lines of those books—you're out of luck. Little, Brown and Company announced today that it had acquired the rights to publish a new book by Rowling, but this one will be aimed at adults, the New York Times reports.

"Although I’ve enjoyed writing it every bit as much, my next book will be very different to the Harry Potter series," Rowling said in a statement. "The freedom to explore new territory is a gift that Harry’s success has brought me." So far there's no word on the title, publication date, or plot of the new book. (More JK Rowling stories.)
