In Lithuania, a 37-year-old man was slapped with a fine of nearly $600 for posting on Facebook that there should be another Hitler who should kill gay people. The furniture-maker wrote the comment under an article about Lady Gaga's criticism of the Lithuanian government, reports PinkNews. A court ruled that he was guilty of inciting violence toward gays, and he has since apologized.

The Facebook post stated: “What we need is another Hitler to exterminate" gay people because "there’s just too many of them multiplying.” The article that sparked the comment pertained to a speech Lady Gaga gave in Rome last summer in which she chided the Lithuanian government for its record on LGBT rights, notes Queerty.com.
