Get off your high horse, Mr. Alec Baldwin. That's the response from the flight attendants union to the actor and his profanity-peppered tirade. Union officials want the bristly actor with the big mouth barred from further flights on American Airlines. They also want to dump 30 Rock episodes from in-flight entertainment. “We’re very upset. He was very malicious and slanderous toward crew members in his comments,” a spokesman for the Association of Professional Flight Attendants tells the New York Daily News. The officials said the union would drop its demands if Baldwin makes a public apology to the flight crew.
Baldwin has admitted he was using his phone to play Words With Friends, but insists he was "singled out" for "rude" comments. A friend told the News that Baldwin "sympathizes with the many hardworking, dedicated employees of American Airlines," but the actor with the notorious temper also described the flight attendant who told him to turn off his phone—to comply with federal regulations—as a "1950s gym teacher."
