The Sacramento Kings fended off a loss last night despite losing their top player, Kevin Martin, to a groin injury in the fourth quarter, reports the Sacramento Bee. John Salmons picked up where Martin had left off, scoring 13 straight points in the 117-107 win. Meanwhile, down the California coast:

The Clippers extended their losing streak to six games and continued to shoot balls everywhere but into the net, letting the Bucks come back 87-78. Michael Redd's 25 points and eight rebounds led the Bucks to victory. Los Angeles' 39% field-goal rate last night was even worse than their average, which is third worst in the NBA.
