South Korean golfer Y.E. Yang made a surprising revelation to reporters today: He split with his coach more than a year ago and replaced him with YouTube, reports AFP. "I've tried to put a lot of methodology into it," he said. "I've researched quite a few players, tried to emulate some of the good things that I see." Yang is no slouch: In 2009, he became the first Asian golfer to win a major when he took the PGA Championship. But his number of wins this year? Zilch.
"Maybe it's because I've been teaching myself that I haven't had as good results as 2009, but I'm still confident and very satisfied with where I'm heading to." Click for more golf news. (More Y.E. Yang stories.)
