From the Pirates of the Caribbean to the Ferraris of Florida—one ride at Disney World will get a lot more horsepower in January. The park plans to add "exotic driving" to its repertoire, reports the Orlando Sentinel. Along with two Ferraris (which go from zero to 60 in 3.4 seconds), there will be two Lamborghinis (each worth a not-too-shabby $260,000), a Porsche 911, and an Audi R8 that tourists looking for a spin a little edgier than Mr. Toad's Wild Ride can take out on the Disney World Speedway, with six laps costing from $199 to $389, depending on the car.
Those comfortable staying in the passenger's seat can pay just $99. The Disney raceway has hosted the Richard Petty Driving Experience for several years, but a decline in the popularity of stock cars has the amusement park looking for higher octane thrills. "We've got the track, we're here year-round, and we know there are people who would love to drive these cars on a race track, given the opportunity," said a spokesman.
