Kim Kardashian might be through with her husband of 72 days, but diamonds are forever, and she should hang on to her $2 million engagement ring. That's the advice from her mom. "It's a gift. You keep a gift," Kris Jenner said on Good Morning America. "I hate an Indian giver," she added in a remark that triggered a speedy complaint from the National Congress of Indians, which branded it "wrong and hurtful." Dumped hubby Kris Humphries had hoped to get the 20.5-carat ring back, sources told the Daily Mail, especially since he'll get nothing from Kim in the divorce because of a prenup.
Kardashian has announced on her blog that she's donating money from her multi-million-dollar wedding gifts to the Dreams Foundation, but didn't mention the ring. Maybe the diamond will help heal her pain. Her mother said Kim's decision to divorce "has got to be devastating for her; she doesn't do anything lightheartedly. It was a decision that she came to after a lot of heartache and pain," Jenner added. "She's a very smart girl and she loves really hard." Jenner said she was stunned by the news. "I couldn't have been hit with anything more shocking," she added. (More Kris Jenner stories.)
