The Philadelphia Eagles, missing starting QB Donovan McNabb, nearly pulled off a dramatic comeback today after a 64-yard punt return by do-it-all running back Brian Westbrook. But Seattle linebacker Lofa Tatupu intercepted A.J. Feeley for the third time with seconds to go in the game sealing a 28-24 victory at Philadelphia, reports Philly.com. In other NFL action:

  • Rookie Adrian Peterson returned the Vikings' lineup today with 116 yards rushing and two touchdowns as Minnesota hammered the free-falling Lions. Both teams are in the NFC playoff hunt at 6-6.
  • The Carolina Panthers broke an eight-game home losing streak with an easy 31-14 thrashing of the Niners. Vinny Testaverde had two touchdown passes for the winners.
