As closing arguments continue in Amanda Knox’s murder-conviction appeal, the court heard today that the American student may look like an angel but is actually a "she-devil." Knox initially accused bar owner Patrick Lumumba of killing her roommate, Meredith Kercher, and his lawyer told the court that Knox is both a saint “and a satanic, diabolic she-devil given to borderline behavior,” Reuters reports.
Carlo Pacelli also asked the court to judge Knox “based on her personality when the crime occurred in November 2007,” rather than being swayed by the image of a tired, gaunt woman who has spent four years in prison. When Kercher was murdered, Knox “was a concentrated mix of sex, drugs, and alcohol” who “loved strong emotions and dangerous games,” he said.
