It was business as usual at the UN General Assembly today: Mahmoud Ahmadinejad gave an anti-America speech, and America walked out. Or, at least, its representatives did. As the Iranian president described the "mysterious" 9/11 attacks as a "pretext" for US attacks on Iraq and Afghanistan, US diplomats walked out, followed by more than a dozen diplomats from other Western countries, reports AP. They missed hearing gems such as this, as reported by Reuters: "By using their imperialistic media network which is under the influence of colonialism they threaten anyone who questions the Holocaust and the September 11 event with sanctions and military actions." Ahmadinejad was considerably less incendiary in his interview with Nicholas Kristof. (More Mahmoud Ahmadinejad stories.)
