Bears Eyed in New Yellowstone Hiker Death

With another hiker found dead in Yellowstone National Park on Friday, authorities are investigating whether he was another grizzly bear victim, reports the AP. The man most likely died Wednesday or Thursday and was found a few miles from where a grizzly killed a man in July. The most recent victim was found near grizzly tracks and scat, but a park spokesman said officials were unsure whether a bear killed him or if he was disturbed after he died. "Bears are opportunistic when it comes to food sources," said the Yellowstone spokesman.

"It's very clear that there was a bear around the victim's body," said the spokesman. "What we don't know is whether this was a bear attack, or whether the bear came upon this man's body after he died."
