Hells Angels Rip Roarin' Mad About T-Shirts

The Harley-riding outlaws of the Hells Angels are on the warpath—over trademark infringement. The organization is suing a fashion house over women's T-shirts that say "My boyfriend is a Hells Angel," reports the Los Angeles Times. "We bring these lawsuits from time to time not just to punish but to educate," a lawyer for the Hells Angels Corporation says. "Somebody thought erroneously that Hells Angels is a generic term."

"Getting this stuff off the market is our highest priority," the lawyer says. "Hells Angels is a membership mark, and it denotes membership in the organization. Even the Hells Angels do not put it on T-shirts they sell to the public." Previous targets of Angels lawsuits include Disney, Marvel Comics, and designer Alexander McQueen.
