Barack Obama kicked off his Midwestern bus tour today with a town hall-style meeting in Minnesota, where he lambasted Congress for putting politics first. "You've got to send a message to Washington that it's time for the games to stop, it's time to put country first," Obama told the crowd, according to the AP. “If you can do the right thing, then folks in Washington have to do the right thing,"

The trip will be Obama’s first bus tour since becoming president, and will include stops in Iowa and Illinois as well. Mitt Romney attacked the tour in a new online video, and dubbed it the “Magical Misery Tour” on Twitter, ABC News reports. “He is more interested in campaigning in swing states than working to solve the economic crisis,” Romney said.
