A 64-year-old man died yesterday after suffering a heart attack during the swimming portion of a triathlon in New York City, reports the Wall Street Journal. It was the second ever fatality for the Nautica New York City Triathlon, and the first since 2008. A 40-year-old woman was also taken to a local hospital after experiencing cardiac arrest in the Hudson River, and is in critical condition. (More triathlon stories.)
