Casey Anthony’s mother broke down today on the witness stand while listening to a tape of a 911 call her daughter made on July 15, 2008. On the tape, Casey calmly reports that her daughter Caylee has been missing for 31 days, ABC News reports. “I know who has her," Casey says, claiming that Caylee is with a nanny. "I've tried to contact her. I actually received a phone call today … I did get to speak to my daughter for about a moment."

Last week, however, Casey’s lawyer admitted that story wasn’t true and that Caylee actually drowned in a pool. Casey’s mother Cindy testified today that she cleaned a deathly odor off Caylee’s favorite doll in July 2008, after Casey's car was retrieved from a tow yard. Cindy noticed a smell in the vehicle and asked, “What died?” She said she took the doll from Caylee’s car seat and tried to get the smell off it. Click through for more on the Casey Anthony trial.
