Politico reports that she started her day at the National Archives in DC, a quick appearance witnessed by the lucky few reporters who caught wind of her location by the tweeting tourists who had spotted her there. Some supporters then hightailed it to Gettysburg, thinking that's where she would be next, but it was on to Mount Vernon instead.
For those looking for concrete details of where she's going next, Palin isn't giving up too many details. Her staff has reportedly directed the media to the SarahPAC website for info on her whereabouts, except it's only updated after she's arrived wherever she's going. Even Greta Van Susteren, who is traveling with Palin, is hazy on the details. "My producer, who talked to someone who works with her in order to set up the interview, told me last night that he would not tell her," Van Susteren wrote on her blog today. "We were told to check their website for any information they are releasing. He said they don’t want the media following them, and that includes us."
