Scary landing for some Delta Air Lines passengers in Atlanta today: They had to take the emergency slides after the plane caught fire, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. All of the 48 passengers and crew got off safely; the AP notes that four people suffered minor injuries that did not require hospitalization. The plane's brakes apparently overheated after it touched down at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport from Pittsburgh. The FAA says the jet, which was billowing smoke and flames on the runway, also blew a tire. Click for another recent Delta scare, this one involving a passenger who tried to leave early.
