Politics / Meghan McCain Meghan McCain Fires Back at Glenn Beck His 'hot body' makes it easy for him to judge young women, she writes By John Johnson, Newser Staff Posted May 12, 2011 6:26 PM CDT Copied Meghan McCain , US columnist/author and daughter of senator John McCain, arrives the annual White House Correspondents Association dinner April 30, 2011 at the Washington Hilton in Washington, DC. AFP PHOTO/Toby Jorrin (Getty Images) After Glenn Beck mocked Meghan McCain's appearance in a PSA for skin cancer by pretending to vomit at the very thought, her mom came to her defense. Now Meghan herself has responded in her Daily Beast column, and it's a beaut: "As a person who is known for his hot body, you must find it easy to judge the weight fluctuations of others, especially young women," she writes to Beck, helpfully reminding him that he has teen daughters of his own. Those girls also "are probably dealing with the sexist, body-obsessed media environment that is difficult for all women," McCain writes. "Is this really the legacy you want to be leaving for yourself?" His "sexist rant" has an upside, though: "You are the only one who looks bad in this scenario, and at the end of the day you have helped me generate publicity for my skin cancer PSA, a cause that I feel quite passionate about."
