You no longer need a smartphone to shoot furious fowl at evil swine: As its international popularity continues to soar, Angry Birds is taking off on the Web. Maker Rovio has teamed with Google for a beta version of the game, which was developed for Google’s Chrome OS and is playable here. “So far we have 63 levels of the original game available, with an additional 7 special Chrome levels,” says Rovio’s blog. Meanwhile, Rovio is making a Facebook version of the game, due later this year, the Christian Science Monitor reports. (More Google Chrome stories.)
