Angry Dems Seek Obama Challenger

The budget deal President Obama hammered out with Harry Reid and John Boehner appears to have been the last straw for some Democrats—especially in the House. Democratic caucus members, including Nancy Pelosi, who voted against the budget deal are feeling ignored and disappointed, and some have even begun discussing the possibility of a primary challenge to Obama, the Daily Beast reports.

Liberal Democrats complain that the budget deal slashes funding to projects aimed at helping society's most vulnerable, including nutrition programs for poor women and children. "I have been very disappointed in the administration to the point where I’m embarrassed that I endorsed him,” said one senior Democratic lawmaker. “It’s so bad that some of us are thinking, is there some way we can replace him?
