You know the signs of Facebook addiction and Facebook depression. Today's lesson: Facebook stalking. Specifically, how to tell if one of your so-called friends is, gasp!, actually stalking you. AllFacebook runs down the seven tell-tale signs:
- They occupy the No. 1 slot: AllFacebook calls this one a "dead giveaway." Go to your profile and check out who tops your list of friends. Typically, they should be the friends you interact with most, or have the most friends-overlap with. If a random person is near the top ... you might have a stalker.
- Constant comments: It's one thing for your family and BFFs to console you after a bad day or get excited about status updates like "OMG ONLY 2 more days til vacation!!!" But if you noticing someone you barely know always commenting ... you might have a stalker.
- Comments on your vacation photos—from last summer: There's sort of an unspoken time limit on when it's appropriate to leave comments on photos. If you start getting comments on photos from last year—or 2007—someone is spending too much time in your archives, and ... you might have a stalker.
