In a college football season rife with upsets, Kansas University justified its No. 4 ranking with a 43-28 win over Oklahoma State, the Kansas City Star reports. Now 10-0 for the first time since 1899, the Jayhawks have a legitimate shot at a national title. Other teams moving up in the polls following Ohio State's surprising loss to Illinois include:

  • No. 2 LSU, which annihilated Louisiana Tech 58-10 while collecting 595 total yards.
  • No. 5 Oklahoma, which bagged three touchdowns in seven minutes to cruise to a 52-21 win over Baylor.
  • No. 6 Missouri, which rode Chase Daniel's 352-yard, three-TD performance to an easy 40-26 defeat of Texas A&M.
  • No. 3 Oregon, which had a bye this week.
