Intruder, Homeowner Call 911 on Each Other
An intruder and a homeowner called the cops on each other Monday night.   (Shutter Stock)

Oregon police got two 911 calls around the same time last night: One from a homeowner reporting a break-in … and one from the intruder himself, worried the homeowner might hurt him. Timothy James Chapek, 24, told police he had just broken in and was, oddly enough, taking a shower when the owner came home with two German Shepherds, found Chapek, and asked what he was doing there. Chapek, scared the owner might have a gun, locked himself in a bathroom and called 911. Not surprisingly, he ended up in jail and will be charged with a misdemeanor for criminal trespassing, ABC News reports.

"It appeared more as though he wasn't intent to steal ... he just wanted to take a shower," an officer says."Based on what I learned last night, maybe there's some issues with mental health or substance abuse or both." Click here for another weird crime. (More intruder stories.)
