Police, family, and friends are scouring the streets of Madrid for an American exchange student who disappeared while on his way home from a bar more than a week ago, reports the AP. Austin Bice, a 22-year-old exchange student from San Diego State University, wasn't feeling well early Feb. 26, and told a friend he was going home. "He had left his credit cards and passport in his room, and had not taken a winter coat, so we're concerned because it was very cold that night," said a friend.

His friend noted that Bice had only been in the country for six weeks, and still wasn't totally familiar with the area. Bice's father has flown in to assist with the search, and says "the police are doing a great job, they have been very active." No clues have yet been found. (More Austin Bice stories.)
