Looks like Lindsay Lohan is going to wind up in jail after all, if even for a brief spell, reports TMZ. Prosecutors offered her a plea deal today—reportedly for six months behind bars—on charges that she stole a necklace. The judge made clear that if she accepts, she will spend time in jail. Lohan has a few weeks to decide whether to accept or take her chances at trial, but TMZ is "almost positive" she'll eventually take the deal—and hope the judge gives her less than six months. She'd face three years if convicted at trial.

"I don't care that you're Lindsay Lohan vs. Jane Doe. It doesn't affect me," said the judge. "This case does involve jail time. Period. If you plead in front of me, you are going to jail." He also admonished her to get a "good sponsor" for her substance abuse problems, someone who's not a relative. Click for more on Lohan's court drama. (More Lindsay Lohan stories.)
