Apple today fended off a call from a group of big investors to reveal publicly its plans to replace Steve Jobs when he eventually hangs up his turtleneck for good. The resolution, introduced by a major labor pension fund, was voted down at the company’s shareholder meeting today, Fox News reports. Apple had insisted that though it had a plan, it didn’t want to disclose it, lest other companies use the info to poach key executives. Steve Jobs, who is in the midst of his third medical leave of the past seven years, did not attend the meeting. (More Steve Jobs stories.)
