Bridget Moynahan became tabloid fodder in 2007 when she discovered she was pregnant just after splitting from New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady—who was by then already dating now-wife Gisele Bundchen—but she says she wouldn’t have it any other way. Son John Edward Thomas is the light of her life and “there's not a second that I regret having a child on my own,” she tells More magazine in a cover interview picked up by the New York Daily News and E!.
Even so, “I don't think any girl grows up dreaming of being a single mom," she says. "It's a challenge. Here is the most valuable part of your life, your child, and you have to learn to let go and hand him over to the person that you couldn't communicate enough with to have a relationship."
